Achievements

Youth Club members and parents paint the tangible picture of our day-to-day mission. Each day SCYC creates a proactive, living example of what it means to serve and to be changed by working with children. SCYC is an example to the entire community of what can happen when passion and progress converge.
“Youth Club helps me in several ways. The way Youth Club helps me most is with homework. Youth Club explains my homework to me. Youth Club also helps me look up the answer to my question. The second thing Youth Club helps me with is by learning. When I go to gardening, I learn about Science. When I go to move, I learn about my body.” - Robert Snowdon
“I think youth club gets me smarter, faster and more intelligent. I think Youth Club is good because you see some of your friends, family and you make lots of friends.” – Graham Schweikert
“Youth Club helps me and my family, because my dad is always at work and my mom is at work in the afternoon.” – Jenny Enger
“Three reasons they help me is with homework. They help me with math. Like Algebra and percentages. The second thing is it helps me learn. Like rings can tell the age of trees. Third thing is they are good friends.” – Coy Graham
“Youth Club helps me by 3 things. 1. It helps me do my homework! They give me enough time to finish it, which is good because I can play when I get home. 2. It helps me get smart by centers. 3. The teachers are also nice to me.” – MaKenna Cottrell
“I hope youth club is here for a long time. Youth club is a very special place to be.” – Kayleen Pinkham
“Fortunately, the SCYC is able give my kids the care and attention that I cannot always provide to them after school. From making sure they have a healthy snack to fun and educational activities to helping with homework questions, I could not have asked for better care. You have become like part of the family!” – Club Family
